Luke Altmann - TRANSFUSION Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP

De la Catessen Records proudly presents a limited vinyl release of theoriginal score of the Stan Original film TRANSFUSION by AACTA nominated composer Luke Altmann (Franklin, The Leunig Fragments,Fell).

TRANSFUSION is the first film to be directed by Matt Nable, and stars Sam Worthington as a former special forces operative who is thrust into the criminal underworld to stop his son being taken from him. TRANSFUSION had its World Premiere at the CinefestOz Film Festival in 2022, and has now been released internationally. Leaning into the sense of fragility, grief, and volatility of the film’s central characters, Luke Altmann’s original score for TRANSFUSION combines compelling performances from ensembles of understated and
gorgeously recorded drifting strings, trumpet, ronroco, and broken piano, with the visceral and barely suppressed dread of growling brass and orchestral percussion.

TRANSFUSION is the second original soundtrack release by Luke Altmann on De la Catessen records, following his score for the celebrated cinematic feature documentary Franklin (dir. Kasimir Burgess).
